Free Workout: Tone It Up!

by Nicole on May 4, 2011

Happy Wednesday!

It’s day 2 of the ELA exam for all grades 3-5 NY state kids, so we are very much in testing mode. I have to get into work a couple of minutes early so I can preview the listening selection I have to read to my students.

My internet has been up and down, in and out this past week, so I didn’t have the time or patience to deal with it yesterday.

Yesterday I went to hot vinyasa at The Yoga Room in Astoria. It very much kicked my butt. It was the hardest class I’ve taken in months, mostly because it was 64% humidity in the room. The thing I love about yoga is that everyday is different. Yesterday’s class found me in child’s pose often because it was just too hot and I was okay with it. It was a great workout, I got to sweat a ton and I walked out feeling refreshed…after sitting for 10 minutes before I go into the car.

You know I love trying new workouts, especially when they don’t cost any money. I’ve shared BodyRock with you, that I found from the Pure2Raw twins. And now I have another awesome site to share with you, that I found out from (I think) Jennifer from She’s a Fit Chick.

Tone It Up. These 2 girls share workouts, diet tips, giveaways and many other things. They also have print out cards and videos that details their heart pumping workouts. It doesn’t hurt that they are in incredible shape. I have to say I love their energy and enthusiasm about working out and they keep things fresh with different moves.

This morning I did the bikini blast circuit (the first video), using the print out cards. It worked my entire body and was done in about 30 minutes. What’s not to love about a (free) full body workout, that’s done in 30 minutes? Check out their facebook page for updates on new workouts, recipes and giveaways!

Have you tried any of these online free workouts?
