HI guys! How was all your weekend? I haven’t had a chance to post because we had lots to do over the past weekend. So much fun stuff to share!
First, I LOVED reading all your comments on my last post over intuitive eating verse calorie counting! There were SO many insightful comments and I love reading everyone’s point of view and what works for THEM! Isn’t that the most important? We are all individuals and need to figure out what works for our own bodies! Some people asked me specificially what I do and maybe I’ll get more into that in my pregnancy update for the week.
Friday we had our 15 week doctor appointment and we got to hear baby’s heartbeat again! Danny heard it for the first time. So crazy. It was nice to have him there since he didn’t get to come to the last one. After our doctor’s appointment we drove right to Providence. If you didn’t know, we both went to Providence College and it holds a very special place in our hearts. We had a business meeting at Blue State Coffee (not with them, just sat there!), ate at Kartabar and then walked around Thayer Street.
These are lots of my favorite places, so I feel the need to link to everything. We stayed at Nylo in Warwick Friday night since we decided to go up last minute and then went to dinner on Federal Hill at Zooma. Zooma was amazing. Highlights of meal were everything: pizza, gnocchi, minestrone soup and arugala salad. YUM. Saturday we had lunch at Constantinos, walked around campus and then went to our friends’ wedding.
It was the first wedding we’ve been to at St. Dominicks on the PC campus. It was beautiful and honestly, so was the entire day. The wedding reciption was at Linden Place in Bristol, RI and the food was amazing as well. We had so much fun with friends, good food and really yummy cake pops. Of course I didn’t do enough justice to this wedding because I didn’t take pictures of everything. But sometimes ya just gotta live in the moment right?
Hope you had a wonderful weekend! Back to the grind now!
Get with it: Spring Awakening: If you missed it I’m running a special on a 5 week online class/email support class. Check it out here and if you’re interested, email or leave a comment for more info!
Also congrats to Lori who also got married over the weekend!
