Hi and happy Sunday!
I figured I better check in before people start to wonder if I’ve gone into labor yet! The answer is NO, we’re still here, patiently waiting. Hah. Not patiently, at all really. I talk to my belly about 25 times a day and ask her/him when they are going to come out.
I’m now 6 days away from my due date and REALLY hoping that baby C comes before the 20th. I’m pretty uncomfortable now and cannot find a good sleeping position.
I guessed from when I found out I was pregnant that baby would come on the 14th or 15th (today is my father in laws birthday – HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOE!) , so we’ll see if I’m right. So far, no signs of baby making an appearance.
Oh, I know some of you are wondering also, I am not dilated at all yet (not that that means anything) so no progress has been made, but it all can happen quickly! Fingers crossed!
This morning I wanted to celebrate Sunday with some french toast.
Simple French Toast
- 1 cup milk (I used whole)
- 3 eggs
- dash of salt
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp agave nectar
- bread (I used ezekial)
I soaked the bread for a couple of minutes in all of the whisked together ingredients and cooked it on the stove. Topped with maple syrup…yum.
So there’s my update. In short: I’m officially 1000% cranky, uncomfortable and ready.
