Hi guys! Yes I’m still here, pregnant. I’ve had a couple of times in the past couple of days where I thought, “hmm…could this be it?…” but no, not yet.
It’s funny because I feel like some bloggers disappear right around their due dates and I’m definitly doing that. I’m hibernating inside my house and spending a lot of time on my couch…with a lot of trash TV. I know it’s good for me to rest, but it’s seriously getting annoying at this point. Luckily I can work from my couch…and I may be letting myself watch TV a little more than usual while I do that work.
Today my sister is off, so I’m looking forward to some company. It would also be a great day for the baby to make her/his arrival. I’ve still been keeping up my walking regimine and alternating some days with some time on the elliptical. I’m hoping all the movement is getting the baby ready.
So since this is just a babbling post about how I’m SOOO ready to have this baby, I figured I’d leave you with some more great links:
This is a serious must read: Carla posted about her HEALTHY TREATS in her house…which has nothing to do with food. I LOVE this and hope to do this with my little ones.
If you’re interested in what a top nutritionist’s family eats, then check out Joy Bauer’s kitchen! I found this really interesting…mainly because I’m nosy.
Need new sneakers? Michele is giving away a pair of Mizuno’s for her 1 year blog anniversary, go enter!
I leave you with my 39.5 week belly.
Off to get in a treadmill walk! I’ll keep you guys posted!

Aw, those last days/weeks seem to go on forever, don’t they? You look amazing though- alllll baby. I won’t say anything annoying like “rest now” or “enjoy sleep while you can” – I’ll just say I’m thinking of you and hope to hear news soon
COME ON BABY C! We wanna meet you!
Have something fun planned for your “due-date” day! I went and hung out with a friend and her little girl at the waterfront, and my husband and I had a great little “date night”. That way, the day is still special for you even if baby doesn’t make his/her appearance! And having something fun “on the books” always lifts my spirits!
I so understand how you’re feeling! Hang in there:-) And I agree with Holly, plan some fun dates with friends, family or your hubby to get out of the house and occupy your mind with something other than “is today the day?”
What a little stinker hanging out in there! You have made a cozy spot in there though! I’m glad you’re doing well and definitely get some rest now! You need it!
You are looking so good. I hope my belly looks like that in 4 weeks
I just needed my baby to not come until today (wrote a midterm). I don’t know why it was a worry of mine that it would for some reason come super early. I really just did not need that with this midterm haha.
Hope baby comes soon. Trashy TV is so where I’ll be at when I’m 39.5 weeks too.
Any feelings of what the gender is right now?!?!? So excited to know!!
I can feel it, any moment now
xoxo
thanks for the LOVE
and yes
Im still stalking you
Thank you for the love!!!! I can’t imagine how hard it is for you…it’s easier said than done to stay busy and keep your mind off of the baby…How do you keep your mind off of a watermelon-sized belly?? LOL =)
But I love the idea of having some fun things planned for your due date!! I would offer for you to come here but I don’t think you want to be that far from home in case something happens!
Thinking of you, Nicole. Can’t wait for your sweet baby to arrive for you!
