I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
I wanted to share some pictures from yesterday. We hosted Thanksgiving here, which was so fun. We were only 9 people, which is really small for us. We still, in typical fashion, made food for about 30 people.
I looked on Pinterest for some tablescape inspiration. You can look at my holiday Pinterest board to see.
I used brown wrapping paper as placemats so we could all write what we were thankful for on them. I really love the way the table came out.
For food we had:
Appetizers:
- Cheese, salami, dried sausage
- bruschetta & spinach dip (homemade)
- goat cheese truffles
- stuffed mushrooms
Dinner:
- Mashed potatoes
- Autumn panzanella
- Autumn turkey
- String beans
- Pan roasted brussel sprouts
Dessert:
- Peanut Butter cookies
- Ice cream sandwiches (a special request)
- Pumpkin Cheesecake
Yum. I can’t wait to enjoy all the leftover food I was too stuffed to enjoy yesterday.

Also…how do babies/toddlers/kids know not to nap on days you need to get the most stuff done?
