2 years have gone by since I’ve started blogging. Blogging has opened up a lot of doors for me and helped me follow my heart to a career path that I would never have thought of only 2 years ago. While, I’m not ready to share my full story, I will share a piece of it.
Part of the amazing thing about blogging is the online community. A lot of people don’t understand blogs or twitter, but I LOVE it. Twitter has helped me connect with like minded people and meet some of them in real life. One of my most favorite people who is a blog friend turned real life connection is Erica. She is a strong, inspirational, gorgeous jewelry designer who I am kind of obsessed with. She designs beautiful pieces, all of which I want in my collection, which is why I feel SO lucky and grateful that she designed this necklace for me (AND YOU!)
So the story of my mini bakery and this piece:
With all of my new business ventures, I had to come up with a name for my baked goods. I was having a hard time thinking of one that would be perfect. One day I was sitting in my classroom and shut the door because of all of the noise. There was a quote behind the door, “follow your bliss” by Joseph Campbell. My co-teacher had put it up months before, but I had never taken the time to actually appreciate the meaning. Just like that Pure Bliss Eats was born. It was so obvious once I read the quote.
And now, months later…with Erica’s amazingness, this was born. You have a chance to win this gorgeous amazing, inspirational necklace!

I love this! Actually, I’ve been looking for something just like this since “Bliss” is in my blog name. It’s very similar to a tattoo I almost got, too. I truly believe in following our bliss whatever they may be. Happiness is the most important thing.
