Tea Time: Green Tea!

by Nicole on November 22, 2011

Morning bloggies! Is today your Friday or tomorrow? I’m so excited for Danny’s brother and family to come today. I feel like it’s been forever since I saw my nieces and nephew. This is a big week for family over here, as I’m sure it is for you too. My cousin’s are also coming home between today and tomorrow, so lots of family time!

The kitchen is slowly coming together. I can’t wait to make my first meal in it, hopefully I’ll be able to do the stuffing and stuffed mushrooms in the oven tomorrow. (Fingers crossed!!!) Otherwise one more thing will be made in my mom’s oven along with everything else…

The bathroom is framed out, but we need to take a halt on construction for awhile and gather up some new funds before we can move forward.

As far as other things, my stress levels are pretty under control. I really think hanging out with friends this weekend helped, along with the fact I have a floor & cabinets in my kitchen. Some people have been asking me about coffee….and my update on whether I’m drinking it or not.

Well….the short answer is I am. The long answer is I’m only have 1 cup a day of 1/2 caffeinated and 1/2 decaffeinated. I’m still having 1 or 2 cups of green tea a day. Sometimes I will get a strong craving for a 2nd cup of coffee, but I’m trying to remember where I was and go for the green tea. I am obsessed with coffee and I doubt I ever won’t be. I am SUPER glad I cut down though.

Every time I go for coffee…I tell myself…

Something to read: Check out my 2 favorite girls Holiday round up. I am drooling over every one of these things and hope to make at least one when I get my working kitchen back! They are so awesome in the kitchen!

Off to be Fitfluential and do a 4 mile run and some weights! Have a wonderful day!

I love green tea but often forget about it and don’t drink it as often as I should. This post has just inspired me to get a cup! Happy Thanksgiving!

To tea time..I am also cutting back on coffee…none yesterday or today so far. I might have a cup here and there, but I have a lot of delicious tea to drink!

Happy Friday! :)

Love you pic of a green tea bag inside a Starbucks coffee mug!
Just to share…green tea has also been shown to be very effective for weight loss…it increases metabolism.
Also it contains caffeine as does black tea and coffee.
