Weekend Accomplishments!

Big week! We’re really moving here with Pure Bliss Eats. It’s slowly turning from a small tiny little online bakery to something bigger. I try not to write all about PBE all the time, but it’s such an exciting time for us! We’re going to be popping up in some retail locations pretty soon! With all this exciting talk, it means less time for other things like workouts and sitting around. Not that I sit around much, but I have to be much more efficient with my time.

Usually in the morning I semi-lesirely do computer work until about 9 when I decide to finally work out. Not lately, which is why I’ve been getting in a bunch of at home workouts. No travel time = more time to actually workout.

This morning I’ll be doing Zuzka Lights (formerly Zuzana of BodyRock) first workout parts 1 & 2. I’m going to watch them while I’m eating breakfast so I know exactly what to do. Excited to workout with her again, she is quite the fitness inspiration!

What did you all do over the weekend?

  • I went to Philly for my niece’s 5th birthday! I can’t believe how fast time flies. She is so so super cute and we had a little tea party to celebrate.
  • We organized my basement and office. I can actually walk in there and breathe instead of feeling stressed. I have to give all credit to office organization to my sister. She rocks organization.
  • Basically finished all nutritional information for PBE. It took forever it feels like. Now I just have to make the labels.
  • Posted two times. A little video about me and 11 random facts about me (again). So much “about me” that’s certainly enough of that for now.
  • Did 25 minutes of weights and ran 4 miles on Saturday morning.

I’ve noticed that in my efforts to be more consistent with my protein, I’m doing a pretty good job of it Monday-Thursday. When the weekends come around and I get busier and distracted, my ways of reading for carb heavy snacks come back in.  I’m kind of just acknowleding this and going to try and make more of an effort on the weekends…rather than feeling disappointed. Schedules change and I get busy in a different type of way on the weekends, so it’s not always easy to eat smaller meals more often. Work in progress I say.

I’m off to eat breakfast (Coach’s Oats) and workout! Have a wonderful day!

That’s so exciting! I love hearing about start-ups and people’s success stories :)

I struggle to eat enough protein as well. It certainly gets away from you if you forget to make an effort. But good thing today is a new day, to start stronger and afresh :)

Great news about PBE growing and expanding! Congratulations :)

I should start monitoring my protein intake. I try to be conscious of it, but as a vegetarian attempting-vegan I should probably take a look at my sources and make sure I’m getting enough at every meal, especially around workouts.
