Fourth of July Recap!

by Nicole on July 5, 2012

Hi!

Hope you all had a wonderful fourth of July and celebrated America and our independence! We had a great fourth and had a full 24 hours of celebrations. We had my friend Katie & Cory’s wedding, which took place at Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers. It was a perfect wedding with so, so many little details that were gorgeous. And I have to say the food was incredible from the cocktail hour to the dinner to dessert. Every bite was amazing.

Wednesday we got up and decided to drive out to Southampton to eat lunch. We happened to see the fourth of July parade which was fun. Then we headed to the Pottery Barn outlet in Riverhead, snagged a glider for less than 1/2 the online price and headed home to two huge surprises. My mom and stepdad finished all our front landscaping AND my amazing sister bought & set up a blow up pool in our backyard. I’ve been obsessing over getting one and I couldn’t find one at target. Not only did she find one, but she set it up. Some pregnant ladies crave ice cream, I crave blow up pools. Normal?

This baby is the most spoiled baby ever and I couldn’t be more grateful. A BIG thank you to my mom, stepdad and sister for being beyond, beyond helpful and loving.

With all that, here are my favorite pictures from the past two days!

All previous pictures taken by my amazingly talented friend Joanna! (Thanks Jo!)

I hope your fourth was as wonderful as mine was!

Congrats to Katie and Cory! <3

What was the best part of your day?
