Weekend! How are yah? I hope staying cool in this intense heat! I’ll be outside in my pool with lots of sunscreen on.
This morning I got up and out at 7 to go for a run. It was a now or never thing because of the heat. I’ve gotten used to the idea that in order to have a comfortable run I need to get up and go before I drink anything. When I get up and go I make it through the entire run without feeling like I need to go to use the bathroom. (Is this TMI?) I’ll have a piece of a Pure bar usually and then head out the door. (I carry a mini water bottle, so I don’t get dehydrated!)
Danny and I went down to the beach last night and laid there for awhile. We’re trying to do this as much as possible pre-baby. We would love to go on a babymoon, however our first baby (Pure Bliss) costs A LOT of money in start up costs, + takes up a LOT of time, neither of which lends itself to a vacation. We will try and do some 3 day weekends though. Plus my mom has already volunteered to watch the baby for a couple of weekends so we can get away. Win, win.
More importantly…what will I be making this weekend?: Pizza, obviously.
Most nights of the week I cannot stomach after dinner dessert. I know this sounds strange as a pregnant lady but it’s true. Dessert makes me cringe. (Don’t worry I do take a handful of chocolate chips almost daily during the day!) Basically everything I’ve been about my whole life is just extreme while pregnant, like my love for bread and cheese. I’ve always been a person who would rather eat more of a meal than dessert, so now it’s just even more true.
However, when I stumbled upon this from Chocolate Covered Katie, my feelings *may* have changed. I WILL be making THIS today. I’ll be sure to let you know how it goes.
