The day to day…

by Nicole on June 5, 2012

Right now with Pure Bliss Eats, there are SO many things going on behind the scenes. Like we told you in our Kickstarter, we are getting things together to move to a co-packer. Sounds simple right? Well, no. Since we are moving to an organic, gluten free, kosher co-packer, we have to re-source our ingredients to make sure they fit all of those qualifications. It’s a long and daunting task. Not to mention there is a new logo, new packaging, boxing, stands, etc. Trust me, I’m NOT complaining, but it’s a LOT of work.

On top of all the behind the scenes work, we’re still filling our regular orders to customers and stores AND starting at a farmer’s market in Roslyn tomorrow.  I wouldn’t be able to do all this if it wasn’t for Dan, my sister and my cousin, Jess. This company is run 100% by the efforts and support of my family. I’m so grateful for the outpouring of support and it just confirms why I’m doing what I’m doing.

I can’t wait to share all of the upcoming changes with you. It’s SO exciting.

So with all of this, I have to be very careful with my time and be very efficient. Some days I’m better at this than others, but it means less time for dilly dallying.

So what am I doing to be extra efficient? I’m trying to plan my workouts, meals and everything else so I can make the most out of my time. I’ll let you know how this goes. I’m also trying to make sure I get in good meals and snacks so I actually have the energy to keep it moving.

Today I’m getting everything ready for my very early wake up call for the farmers market! It should be fun!

I know this was a ramble, but some days that’s what ya get!

I’m off to get my run on…then lots and lots of work! Good thing I love what I do! :)

I’m so excited and happy for you, Nicole!!! The farmer’s market sounds awesome – I wish I lived closer otherwise I would be a regular! I’m always in awe of the sellers at the markets – it seems like such hard work each week to have everything prepped, set up, and then to spend the 10-12 hours selling!
Make sure you also start allowing some time to just put your feet up!! With the warmer temps, your feet and ankles will start to swell (trust me!) doing what used to be such menial little things =)

totally understand with you about all the behind stuff you have to deal with it. dealing with vendors for raw ingredients is tough, as they are always changing pricing, or changing what they offer, etc/

best of luck with everything!!
