Week in Review: Workouts, Blog Reads & Pics

Good morning and Happy Saturday! I finally slept last night! And it’s not because my little one slept well (because she didn’t) but it’s because my sleep anxiety only kept me up for 1.5 hours. I haven’t had sleep anxiety since I was teaching…blah. (It’s usually because I put pressure on myself to get XX amount of sleep and when I see that I’ve been up for an hour+ it makes me super anxious…plus everything else on my mind!) But it’s the weekend, so yay.

I didn’t really post anything about New Years resolutions…because I don’t really have any. Danny and I do always make a “goal” list to achieve throughout the year, that involves personal and business goals. We go through them through the year to see how on point we are to achieving it. Right now my personal goals are to continue to get back into shape and work on my fitness/strength. I’ll be doing this by doing Tina’s Best Body Bootcamp starting Monday. (So excited!!) I’ll be sharing more with you as that goes on.

Since I’m not posting as much, I thought I’d share what I did for the week:


Monday: Jillian Michael’s Ripped in 30 workout 2 & 30 minute incline walk (speed 3.6-40 and incline 3.0 – 6.0)

Tuesday: Run/walk 4 miles (walked .5, ran 1.2 miles, walked .3, ran 1, walked .2, ran .6 cool down)

Wednesday: Ripped in 30 workout 2 & 30 minutes Exhale Energy Flow

Thursday: Run/walk 4 miles (walked .5, ran 1.5 miles, walked .2, ran 1, walked .2, ran .6 cool down)

Friday: Ripped in 30 workout 3, walked 30 minutes

Saturday: rest!  (nap, couch, tv, baby, food store)

Blog Reads: (I read a whole bunch of blogs, but I rarely comment anymore because I read on my phone!)

I’m Not My Leanest: Amazing real post by Tina (no surprise) about how she’s not her leanest and how it’s perfect for her. I can def relate to this!

Lori & Michelle posted their 28 favorite recipes of the year. I wish I lived next door to them.

Carla’s 5 pronged approach for 2013 success (I need to breathe more. Working on this by doing weekly yoga) & her advice on how to STOP Re-reading Your Past!

Angela’s most popular recipes of 2012...I need to get on making some of these…like the oatmeal squares and carrot cookies!

Listen to Cat, Kick Ass Eat Donuts. Yum. And I’m down with kicking 2013′s ass. :)
