Granola and an interval workout!

Did you all have a good Monday? Mine started off a little on the not so good side, but I turned it around. It started with not being able to fall asleep (AGAIN) on Sunday nights. I just love sleep and I think I've been putting too much pressure on sleeping a certain amount of hours. I don't know what to do to fix it, but I'm going to do something! I've already been drinking Yogi bedtime tea and I think it helps a bit.

Then it went on to be not so good when I walked out of my building with OUT my bag which had my keys inside of it. I had to wait for my super, who wouldn't come down until 8:05 and ended up being 20 minutes late for work. (thank goodness I'm never actually late and they were very nice about it!!)  After being at work for about an hour I settled in and the day went fine. (Besides walking around in my gloves because the heat was off for most of the morning!) I came home and watched Ellen, and how could that NOT make your day better. She's so funny.

On Sunday I wanted granola on top of my acai bowl, but I didn't have any, so I decided to try out making my own.  I was really impatient so I basically toasted it instead of baked it but it turned out SO good.  I spread the oats out on my toaster oven baking sheet (yes that's how impatient I was!!). I sprinkled turbinado sugar and a little agave over the top and mixed it up. I also sprinkled a tiny bit of sea salt on the top. I baked it at 350 for about ten minutes and tossed it about every 5 minutes.

Acai bowl with raw almonds, cacao nibs, goji berries and my granola on top. I didn't think I would eat all that granola but I did!

When Danny and I went to the gym on Saturday I also tried out a great new treadmill workout that I wanted to share.  I got the original workout from Fitnessista.com and I changed it just a little bit. (Original workout here.)

Have a great night! How I Met Your Mother is on its 100 episode tonight so I'm going to watch that NOW!
LOVE that show.

Here's the treadmill workout. You WILL get your butt kicked.

This is my version that I plan on doing again tomorrow:
